"This work presents a study on the conflicts between Mexicans and Texans (1835-1842) and later between Mexicans and Americans (1846-1848). It can be seen that the atrocities of the Mexican army at the Alamo and Goliad during the campaign against Texas caused resentment among the Texans who would arrive in Mexico as soldiers and volunteers in 1846. These men carried out a mission of revenge by burning towns, murdering civilians and desecrating churches. Likewise, it analyzes the actions of the Mexican guerrilla as well as the American counter-guerrilla during the years of the conflict."-
